GST Workshop

The 2020 GST Workshop will concentrate on key GST issues relevant to Local Government.

Topical issues will be discussed and audience participation is encouraged.
Scenarios will be presented in a workshop style with a step by step explanation of the basis for determining the GST treatment of various transactions. The workshop will cover the following in detail:

Speakers

James Tng

James Tng has been a partner since 2006 and has decades of experience in tax and business advice to government agencies, businesses, migrants, and overseas and Australian businesses.
 
James generally looks after the ongoing tax affairs for clients with complex tax and businesses and individuals from overseas in setting up in Australia, providing strategic financial know-how and applying his extensive knowledge of tax systems.  James regularly presents for the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Tax Institute and IPA.

Daniel Pegdon

Daniel Pegdon is a Manager in the Tax and Business Advisory division after joining Moore Stephens in 2011.

Daniel's expertise is in tax consulting and compliance for SME business and corporate clients both locally and internationally.  His work has required a comprehensive knowledge of taxation, accounting and commercial matters. Daniel regularly presents for CPA Australia.

Adrian Miraudo

Adrian Miraudo is a Senior Tax Advisor in the Tax and Business Advisory division.

Adrian has been with the firm since 2016 and has been involved with WALGA tax service since commencing at Moore Stephens. Adrian’s expertise is in tax consulting and compliance for SME business and corporate clients and is heavily involved in the WALGA tax Q&A service and other general advisory services provided at Moore Stephens. Adrian regularly presents webinars and workshops for the WALGA tax service.
